Matt Palys

Matt is the principal consultant at Power-to-X Analytics. He has expertise in developing decision support tools for power-to-x systems based on technoeconomic analysis and life cycle assessment. His experience includes modeling and optimizing production facilities renewable hydrogen and ammonia along with value chains for these commodities in the energy and agricultural sectors. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2021.
Prodromos Daoutidis
CTO & Co-Founder
Prodromos co-founded Power-to-X Analytics and is a College of Science and Engineering Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota. He is an internationally recognized leader in process systems engineering and process control. His research group has pioneered the development of decision support tools for assessing and optimizing the economic feasibility of power-to-x systems. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1991.
Michael Reese
CFO & Co-Founder
Michael co-founded Power-to-X Analytics and is the Director of Operations at the University of Minnesota's West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) in Morris, Minnesota. Over the last 23 years, he has led the development of the renewable energy program at WCROC and managed more than $30 million of research and demonstration projects for wind and solar energy, biomass gasification, and renewable hydrogen and ammonia production. In 2013, he led the development, commissioning, and operation of the first-in-the-world wind-to-ammonia pilot plant.
